Robots vs. tears: can playtime ease Kids' hospital fears?
NCT ID NCT07056816
Summary
This study tested whether playing with interactive toys or robots could help reduce anxiety and fear in children aged 4 to 10 who needed a nebulizer breathing treatment in the emergency room. Researchers compared children who played with these distractions during treatment to those who did not. The goal was to find a simple, non-medical way to make a scary hospital experience easier for kids.
