Cuddly toys tested to soothe Kids' surgery pain
NCT ID NCT07428421
Summary
This study is testing if letting a child hold a soft toy while they get up and move after abdominal surgery helps reduce their pain and fear. Researchers will compare 74 children, where one group gets a toy to hold and the other receives standard care. The goal is to find a simple, non-medical way to make recovery easier and less scary for young patients.
