Cuddly caterpillar calms Kids' needle fears
NCT ID NCT07127432
Summary
This study tested if a colorful, musical toy called a 'Storytelling Caterpillar' could help children aged 3 to 6 feel less pain and anxiety when getting their blood drawn. Researchers compared kids who played with the toy during the procedure to kids who received standard care. The goal was to see if this simple distraction method could make the experience better for children and their parents.
