Toy tunes out IV fear for young kids in ER
NCT ID NCT07459517
Summary
This study is testing if a simple musical toy can help reduce fear and improve the process of placing an IV in young children. Researchers will compare children who play with the toy during the procedure to those who receive standard care. The goal is to find an easy, low-cost way to make a common but scary hospital experience better for kids and their caregivers.
