Can a toy make breathing treatments less scary for kids?
NCT ID NCT07417839
Summary
This study aims to see if using a toy nebulizer is better than distraction cards at reducing fear in young children who need nebulizer treatments for breathing problems like asthma. Researchers will compare the two methods in 120 children aged 3-6 who are getting this treatment for the first time. They will measure the children's fear levels and how satisfied their parents are with the process.
