Researchers test survey to measure toxic masculinity in future nurses

NCT ID NCT07192406

Summary

This study aimed to adapt and test a survey about harmful masculine beliefs, called the Toxic Masculinity Scale, for use with nursing students in Indonesia. Researchers translated the survey, checked it with experts, and then gave it to over 600 nursing students to see if it was culturally relevant and measured things accurately. The goal was to create a reliable tool to understand these beliefs in this specific group.
