First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether a simple iPad game (Play.Care) can accurately detect autism in children aged 2.5 to 5 years. Researchers compared the game's results with the standard clinical diagnosis in 779 children, including those with autism, other developmental disorders, and typically developing kids. The goal is to create a faster, more objective screening tool that could help identify autism earlier.
