NCT ID NCT06680518
First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a tourniquet during bunion surgery changes pain and swelling after the operation. Each of the 44 participants will have both feet operated on the same day, with one foot getting a tourniquet and the other not. The goal is to see if avoiding the tourniquet leads to less discomfort and fewer complications.
