Can a loving touch strengthen the bond with your unborn baby?
NCT ID NCT07417384
Summary
This study tests whether a gentle, guided touch therapy called haptonomy can help pregnant women feel more emotionally connected to their baby and better supported by their partner. Thirty-six women between 20-32 weeks pregnant will receive three weekly sessions with either their partner, mother, or a midwife providing the touch support. Researchers will measure changes in feelings of attachment and support before and after the sessions.
