Summary

This study tests a thumb joint replacement device (TOUCH CMC 1) in 163 US adults with moderate thumb arthritis. The goal is to see if it reduces pain by at least 30% and maintains or improves pinch strength, without serious complications. Participants will be followed to compare results with earlier non-US data.
