New hope for advanced nose cancer: immunotherapy plus chemo tested

Summary
This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug toripalimab to standard chemotherapy (cisplatin and gemcitabine) can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth in people with nasopharyngeal cancer that has come back or spread. About 100 adults who have not had prior treatment for advanced disease will receive the combination. The main goal is to see how many patients respond, and researchers will also track how long benefits last and any side effects.
