NCT ID NCT07522788

First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study compares two creams—tranexamic acid and ethyl ascorbic acid (a form of vitamin C)—for treating melasma, a condition that causes dark patches on the skin. About 128 adults with melasma will use one of the creams, and doctors will measure how much the dark patches improve. The goal is to find out which cream works better for lightening the skin.
