Summary
This study tested whether applying tranexamic acid (a medicine that reduces bleeding) directly to the surgical wound, along with a special stitching technique, could help women recover better after breast cancer surgery. 62 women took part, and those who received the treatment had less fluid buildup and fewer wound infections. The approach is safe, simple, and low-cost, aiming to improve recovery after mastectomy.
