First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This early-phase study is testing a topical phenylephrine cream applied daily to the scalp for 3 weeks in 24 healthy women aged 18-55. The goal is to measure how much of the drug gets into the bloodstream and to check for side effects like blood pressure changes or skin reactions. It does not aim to treat or prevent hair loss, only to gather safety and absorption data.
