First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gel containing carbon dioxide (carboxytherapy) can reduce redness and swelling after microneedling, a cosmetic skin treatment. About 20 adults will receive the gel on one side of their face and a placebo on the other. Researchers will compare healing and side effects to see if the gel speeds recovery.
