Summary
This study tested whether a specific whitening toothpaste was better than a regular toothpaste at removing surface stains from teeth over six weeks. 118 adults with existing tooth stains used one of the two toothpastes twice daily. Researchers measured the stain levels on their front teeth at several points to see which toothpaste worked better.
