Toothpaste showdown: which whitens better in just one week?

NCT ID NCT06957249

Summary

This study tested whether a Colgate toothpaste with 5% hydrogen peroxide whitens teeth better than a toothpaste without hydrogen peroxide. 80 healthy adults with naturally darker teeth used one of the two toothpastes for one week. Researchers measured changes in tooth color using a standard dental shade guide to see which toothpaste worked better.
