New dental duo battles plaque and gum disease in 3-Month test

NCT ID NCT06427499

Summary

This study tested whether a new stannous fluoride toothpaste and specially designed toothbrush work better than standard products at reducing plaque buildup and gum inflammation (gingivitis). 95 adults in Thailand with existing plaque and mild gum inflammation used their assigned products for three months. Dentists measured plaque and gum health at several checkpoints to compare the two approaches.
