Summary

This study compared a toothpaste with stannous fluoride to a regular fluoride toothpaste for controlling tartar (hardened plaque) on teeth. One hundred adults in Bangkok used one of the two toothpastes for 12 weeks. Researchers measured tartar buildup to see which toothpaste worked better.
