Toothpaste test: can a new formula beat plaque better?
NCT ID NCT07419737
Summary
This study tested whether a toothpaste containing stannous fluoride was better at preventing dental plaque than a standard sodium fluoride toothpaste. 91 healthy adults used their assigned toothpaste twice a day for two weeks after a professional dental cleaning. Researchers measured plaque buildup after one day and again after two weeks to see which toothpaste worked better.
