New oral care combo fights plaque and gum disease in major trial
NCT ID NCT07398846
Summary
This study aims to see how well a specific combination of products—a stannous fluoride toothpaste, a cetylpyridinium chloride mouthwash, and a battery-powered toothbrush—works to control dental plaque and reduce gum inflammation (gingivitis) over 12 weeks. It will involve about 135 adults who already have some plaque buildup and mild gum inflammation. Researchers will measure changes in plaque and gum health to see if this daily routine is more effective than standard care.
