New dental duo fights gum disease?
NCT ID NCT06660069
Summary
This study tested if using a specific stannous fluoride toothpaste together with a cetylpyridinium chloride mouthwash twice daily improves gum health and reduces plaque better than using a regular fluoride toothpaste alone. It involved 199 adults with mild to moderate gum inflammation over 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in gum bleeding, redness, and plaque buildup to see which routine worked best.
