New toothpaste formula aims to zap tooth sensitivity pain
NCT ID NCT07317128
Summary
This study tested two new toothpastes designed to block the tiny tubes in teeth that cause pain from hot, cold, or air. About 120 adults with sensitive teeth used one of the toothpastes twice daily for 12 weeks. Researchers measured how much their pain decreased compared to using a standard fluoride toothpaste.
