New toothpaste formula aims to block pain from sensitive teeth

NCT ID NCT07317128

Summary

This study tested whether two new toothpastes designed to block tiny tubes in teeth could reduce sensitivity better than a standard fluoride toothpaste. About 120 adults with sensitive teeth brushed with their assigned toothpaste twice daily for 12 weeks. Researchers measured pain from cold air and light touch on the teeth to see which toothpaste worked best.
