Summary

This study examined whether different types of toothpaste change tooth color or cause white spots in people undergoing orthodontic treatment with fixed braces. 45 patients were divided into three groups using fluoride toothpaste, lactoperoxidase toothpaste, or fluoride-free toothpaste. Researchers used 3D scans and special fluorescence imaging to measure color changes before and after treatment.
