NCT ID NCT06833970
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at how different toothpastes change tooth color and fluorescence in people wearing braces. 45 people with fixed braces used one of three toothpastes (with fluoride, with lactoperoxidase, or without fluoride). Researchers used 3D scans and special fluorescence photos to measure color changes over time. The goal was to see which toothpaste best prevents white spots and color changes during orthodontic treatment.
