Electric vs. manual: which toothbrush cleans braces better?
NCT ID NCT07383636
Summary
This study aimed to find out if electric toothbrushes are better than manual ones at cleaning plaque from around the attachments used with clear aligners (like Invisalign). Fourteen adults undergoing clear aligner treatment brushed with one type of toothbrush, and researchers measured plaque before and after. The goal was to gather information to help patients and dentists choose the best tools for oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment.
