Summary
This study compared a Colgate toothpaste containing 5% hydrogen peroxide and fluoride to a toothpaste without hydrogen peroxide to see which whitens teeth more over one week. Eighty healthy adults aged 18 to 70 with at least moderately dark teeth brushed with one of the two toothpastes. Researchers measured tooth color changes using a standard shade guide.
