Shining a light on faster healing: new tech aims to save jawbone after tooth loss
NCT ID NCT07371130
Summary
This study is testing if a special low-level light therapy device can help the jaw heal better after a tooth is pulled. The goal is to preserve more bone in the empty socket, making it easier to place a dental implant later. Researchers will compare standard socket grafting with grafting plus the light therapy in 20 adults.
