Study tests best way to heal jawbone for dental implants

NCT ID NCT07394738

Summary

This study aims to find the best material to help the jawbone heal after a tooth is pulled, before a dental implant is placed. Forty healthy adults will have their extraction socket filled with one of three different graft materials or left to heal naturally. Four months later, researchers will take a small bone sample during implant surgery to see which material helped grow the most new, strong bone.
