Your old tooth could save your jawbone: study tests new grafting methods
NCT ID NCT06374784
Summary
This study tested three different methods to preserve jawbone after pulling an infected tooth. Researchers used the patient's own processed tooth material as a bone graft, sometimes mixing it with a healing gel (PRF) or an antibiotic. The goal was to see which method best maintained bone volume for a future dental implant.
