Laser vs. gel: which works best for sensitive teeth?

NCT ID NCT07068724

Summary

This study tested three different approaches to reduce tooth sensitivity that can occur after deep cleaning for gum disease. Researchers compared a desensitizing gel (Gluma), a special dental laser, and a combination of both treatments. They followed 48 patients for six months to see which method provided the most lasting relief from sensitivity.
