Summary
This study tested whether a special gel could reduce the common side effect of tooth sensitivity during professional teeth whitening. Thirty participants with healthy teeth underwent two whitening sessions. Researchers compared the pain levels and final tooth color of those who received the desensitizing gel versus a placebo gel.
