New gel challenges standard treatment for sensitive teeth
NCT ID NCT07323693
Summary
This study tested whether a new gel that releases calcium and phosphate works better than a standard fluoride varnish at reducing tooth sensitivity near the gumline. Thirty adults with sensitive teeth participated and were randomly assigned to receive one of the two treatments. Researchers measured their pain levels over six months to see which treatment provided longer-lasting relief.
