Tooth-Saving showdown: finding the best way to rescue Kids' Cavity-Ridden molars

NCT ID NCT06227390

Summary

This study tested different methods for treating deep cavities in children's baby molars to save the living part of the tooth. Researchers compared three special filling materials and two types of final restorations (a simple filling or a protective crown) in 120 children aged 4-7. The goal was to find the most effective approach to keep these important baby teeth healthy and functional until they naturally fall out.
