4,000 people to get their tooth roots counted in new study
NCT ID NCT07170956
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study will look at 3D dental scans from 4,000 people to count how many roots each permanent tooth has. Researchers want to see if the number of roots differs between men and women, and how it changes with age. The goal is to better understand normal tooth anatomy, not to test a treatment.
