First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at 120 adults with decayed back teeth to see how long different types of dental restorations (onlays and crowns) last. Participants received either a crown or an onlay made from one of three ceramic materials. The goal was to find out which option survives longest and causes fewer problems like fractures or cavities.
