Dentists try to rescue 'Hopeless' teeth from gum disease

NCT ID NCT06893107

Summary

This study is testing a procedure called intentional replantation to save adult teeth that are severely loose and damaged from advanced gum disease. Dentists carefully remove the tooth, clean it, and put it back in place, then monitor it for 9 months. The goal is to see if this can control the disease, help the bone heal, and keep the tooth functional while improving the patient's comfort.
