Summary
This study tested an experimental treatment called KH001 to see if it could help regrow the natural, hard layer (dentin) inside a tooth that has a cavity. It involved 12 adults who had cavities in their wisdom teeth, which were scheduled for removal. Researchers applied KH001 to the cavity and later examined the tooth after extraction to see if new dentin had formed.
