New tooth coatings fight white spots without drilling
NCT ID NCT07086235
Summary
This study tested two new dental coatings designed to repair early white spots on teeth, which often appear after braces. Researchers compared a peptide-based gel with fluoride against a protective glass-ionomer coating in 44 young adults. The goal was to see which treatment better restored the tooth's natural mineral content and which one patients preferred.
