First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether case-based learning (CBL) helps dental students learn tooth reduction skills better than traditional lectures. Sixty dental students took part, with half getting CBL sessions and the other half standard teaching. The goal was to see if CBL improves both knowledge and practical skills in preparing teeth for crowns or bridges.
