New tooth test could save your smile

NCT ID NCT07452614

Summary

This study is testing if a small blood sample taken from an exposed tooth nerve during a cavity treatment can predict whether a tooth-saving procedure will be successful one year later. It involves 55 people aged 16-50 who need treatment for a deep cavity that has reached the tooth's nerve. The goal is to find a better way to diagnose the health of the tooth nerve and help dentists choose the best treatment to save the natural tooth.
