New dental treatment aims to save Teens' teeth from root canals
NCT ID NCT07417098
Summary
This study compares two ways to treat severe tooth pain from deep cavities in teens' permanent molars. Researchers will test a less invasive procedure using a patient's own concentrated growth factors (CGF) against the traditional full root canal treatment. They'll follow 60 adolescents for two years to see which approach better controls pain and preserves the tooth.
