Cholesterol drug tested as alternative to antibiotics for Children's tooth infections

Summary

This study compares two different pastes for treating infected baby teeth in children aged 5-8. Researchers want to see if simvastatin (a cholesterol medication) paste works as well as traditional antibiotic paste for cleaning and healing infected teeth. The study involves 60 children who will receive one of the two treatments and be followed for 3 months to check if the infection clears up.
