Root canal showdown: which medication heals tooth infections faster?
NCT ID NCT07239739
Summary
This study compares two common medications placed inside teeth during root canal treatment to see which helps infected bone around the tooth heal faster. Researchers will measure how quickly the infection area shrinks and bone density improves over 12 months in 62 adults with infected single-rooted teeth. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either Triple Antibiotic Paste or Calcium Hydroxide medication during their treatment.
