Summary
This study tested three different methods for cleaning infected tooth roots to see which one leads to the best healing of large infections. It involved 97 people with a serious infection at the tip of a tooth root in their lower jaw. Researchers used 3D scans to measure how much the infection shrank over a year after treatment with different cleaning techniques.
