Gel from Patient's own blood tested to speed healing after dental surgery for diabetics

NCT ID NCT07287475

Summary

This study is testing if a gel made from a patient's own blood platelets can help diabetic adults heal faster and with fewer problems after having teeth pulled. Researchers will compare healing in two sockets: one treated with the gel and one left to heal normally. They will measure how quickly the gum closes, check for discomfort, and ask about patient satisfaction.
