Your own tooth vs. animal bone: which heals better after wisdom tooth removal?
NCT ID NCT07362394
Summary
This study compares two materials used to fill bone and gum defects after wisdom tooth removal. Researchers will test if using processed particles from the patient's own extracted tooth works as well as or better than a commercially available animal-derived bone graft. Participants will have both lower wisdom teeth removed and receive a different graft material on each side, then be followed for one year to measure healing, bone regrowth, and pain.
