Can donated teeth save your jawbone? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07242313

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to preserve jawbone after a tooth is pulled, to prepare for a future dental implant. Researchers will compare two different types of processed, donated human tooth grafts placed in the empty socket against natural healing. They will measure how well each method maintains bone width, height, and quality over six months in 45 healthy adult patients.
