This study tested whether using a patient's own platelet concentrates (a type of blood gel) and low-level laser therapy can improve healing after removing impacted wisdom teeth. 122 adults were randomly assigned to receive standard care, laser, platelet gel, or a combination. Researchers measured pain, swelling, mouth opening, and bone regrowth over several months. The goal was to find the best way to reduce discomfort and speed up recovery after this common surgery.
